Unpredictability and the future: Goodbye London (for now…)
posted 2 years agoLondon is a beautiful city. It’s a bustling, vibrant, and hip. I love this place, and quite frankly theres nowhere else in the world I’d rather be. Despite the description I’ve just written, these are not the reasons why I want/need to stay.
It’s the people.
I’ve never felt so strongly about a group of friends in my entire life. Never have I met so many people that ‘get’ me, and accept who and what I am. Over the course of my year spent in London, my view the world and how I view myself have changed completely. I could ramble on and on about this, but I’m going to try keep this message positive.
I’ve had so many great memories, its hard to even recount all of them.
Highlights include:
- Roadtrip with the boys
- Spain trip with Kevin
- Holland/Belgium with Dan
- Running with the bulls
- Ocktoberfest with Jackie
- Euro Thanksgiving
- Nakie Run
Like the title of this post suggests, life is unpredictable. Who knows what it will throw at me next…BUT if I were a betting man, I’d reckon my time in Europe isn’t over quite yet. There isn’t anything standing in the way of me doing something wonderfully reckless and buying a ticket back on a whim.
For everyone who’s made my time here feel special, I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Yours,
Erik xxx
